Discover the Isles of Scilly
England’s Gulf Stream paradise

Just off the coast of Cornish peninsula in England’s southwest, the Isles of Scilly are one of the most uniquely fascinating archipelagos on earth. A haven for wildlife, sea creatures and seabirds, the Isle’s 5 inhabited and 140 uninhabited islands is also a haven for lovers of nature, luxury and adventure.

Whether it’s the ocean, the shore or the land that floats your boat, there’s plenty to explore!

Steeped in History and Myth

The Isles offer an astonishingly compelling and diverse path of discovery for those who love a wander through history. Shipwrecks haunt the coastlines and temperamental channels between the islands, while upon commanding hilltops the remains of Bronze Age burial sites may still hold the treasures of an old Christian seer. Many believe the Isles to be the location of the mythical lost land of Lyonesse referred to in Arthurian texts - a land where myth and legend rise from the sea to encompass all.

Discover Natural Wonders

Whether it’s taking a bracing day walk in the fresh ocean breeze or whale watching off the coast, the Isles of Scilly are a playground for lovers of the great outdoors. The Isles literally have it all: white sandy beaches that stretch for miles, coastal grasslands, woodlands, wetlands with a cacophony of bird-life, blustery cliffs with horizon-spanning views... and that’s just above the water! The Scillys also play host to a wealth of ocean life including corals, fish in all colours and sizes, seals and even the occasional Basking Shark.

Karma St Martin’s - Safe Harbour in the Heart of Luxury

The first island you see as you sail from the mainland, St Martin’s is a haven of crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, stunning plant life and rare seabirds.

From its perch on a slope just above the port, Karma St Martin’s commands outstanding views, but there are a few other things that make Karma St Martin’s truly special – our ‘never too much trouble’ hospitality, our comfy bar with its leather couches and open atmosphere, our curated Cornish library and, perhaps most importantly, dining on the fresh-caught spoils of the sea in our signature restaurant.

What our members have to say about Karma St. Martin’s

- Mr. and Mrs. Bullock from Western Australia

Having just returned from our UK holiday & our visit to St.Martins, I'm sending a few photos of our time there, and to say what a wonderful place it is.

On arrival at the island on a wet and windy day we were met by the staff to be taken to the hotel to a warm welcome and drink before showing us to our room which had a wonderful view looking over the ocean.

Please to say the weather cleared after a day and we had nice dry and sunny days for the week of our stay, to put it in a few words our stay at St.Martins was wonderful, the hotel, food, staff & island, it was like going back in time. Bill & I will certainly make the effort to visit again when we are in the UK

- Mr. and Mrs. Yates from Western Australia

Absolute Perfection! Our week at Karma St Martins was everything we had hoped for. We enjoyed a week of exploring St Martins as well as the other surrounding islands. In the week we managed to see all but one of the other islands. Getting between the islands is not difficult but planning was essential to ensure we did not miss the ferry. Karma staff keep you well informed of ferry times and destinations each day. The staff at Karma were very welcoming and the accommodation is extremely comfortable. It’s a great place to return home to after a long day of exploring.

We found the local community of St Martins extremely friendly and always eager to provide local knowledge. They really made us feel a part of the community. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the local cafes and restaurants. Although there are not many on the island, they all provide something different, local and enjoyable. It does take some planning but it’s well worth it. We’d love to visit again, perhaps on our next long holiday from Australia
