Beautiful Bali

Although Bali has only two seasons - the dry season (April to October) and the wet season (October to April) - the overall temperature is perfect for year-round fun, frivolity and tropical island bliss!

We’ve scoured the stunning Island of the Gods to bring you the very best Bali has to offer!

A festival of silence? Shhh.
Neypi day, otherwise known as Bali’s New Year or ‘Day of Silence’, is a day where the populace of the island delves into quiet contemplation and thoughtful bliss. It is said the communal practice of silence is to prevent attracting the attention of the gods, who leave Mount Agung to fly over the island on this day.

From the comfort of your own private pool villa at Karma Kandara, Karma Jimbaran or poolside at one of our many Karma Royal Resorts, you can experience all the deep mystery of Nyepi Day for yourself – while still sipping on a delectable cocktail of course.

A world of flavour!
Bali’s cuisine is unique - even for Indonesia! The island’s culinary culture is indelibly linked to Bali’s Hindu-Animist religion and deep spiritual beliefs. Must-try foods include the island-wide food phenomenon of Babi Guling - suckling pig Bali-style - and Ayam Betutu, a delicately spiced chicken served with sambal matah and rice.

February Holiday Letter Winner

Kasha and Wesley Smith from U.S.A

Won 7 nights free accommodation at any Karma Retreat or
Karma Royal property

“We have just returned from Bali where we stayed for a week at the Karma Jimbaran. For a family with young children, this is the perfect resort. It rained most of the week, which may put a damper on most holidays. However, my children begged each morning to spend the day at the kid's club. The ladies that took care of them at kid's club were incredible. They braided hair, turned our children into exotic animals with face paint, gave manicures and pedicures, taught the children new games and patiently sat and did crafts with them. Lunch was delivered to them, and every day when I called to see if I could pick them up, my kids told me to come later! With the children taken care of, my husband and I were able to read a few books, enjoy lunch at the resort, swim in our private pool and utilize the spa and gym. Everyone who worked there was more than accommodating. The people that tidy up the villas were always very sweet and friendly. We will be back!”

The 2017 Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swim!

A message from one of our members and Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swimmer, Nicole. We couldn’t be prouder of Nicole and Team Karma!

“Just a quick note to say thanks to you and all of the team for the weekend.

We had a great day - despite going very South and having to work hard to try and get back into the Channel.

The Team from Karma was amazing and it was a brilliant experience. We are already talking about 2018... Have to get that little gold medal after coming so so close to the end...

The whole experience made me so proud to be a Karma Holiday Club member, it really showed the true sense of family, fun and friendship that the karma brand is all about.

Thanks again,
Nic”

Western Force v Queensland Reds Feedback!

Mr. and Mrs. Zis from Western Australia

Member of the Karma Group since 1997

“Thank you for the three tickets for last night's game Western Force v Queensland Reds. With the Force prevailing, it was nice to cheer them to victory. It was the first time I had been to nib Stadium so it was nice to experience the faculty purposely planned around a rectangular pitch. To have the Force win their first game after losing the previous ten games, made the night more special.

It was a warm balmy evening and apart from the rugby, the sunset was amazing. I have enclosed a pic taken from where I was sitting.

Thank you for a most pleasant evening”
